Policy Alert: Prevent the Sale of Tax Liens to Private Investors

Friday, April 25, 2003 marks the final day of the Georgia State Legislature.  House Bill 88, which seeks to prohibit the sale of tax liens to private investors, has been passed by the State House but is currently being held in committee by the State Senate. Representative Douglas Dean implores you to contact Senators Don Balfour, Tom Price, and Eric Johnson and voice your support of House Bill 88 (i.e. Senate Bill 182 as amended by the House).
